TMediaPlayer x2

How do I have 2 instances of TMediaplayer running at the same time and both being controlled by my application?
They will both be playing Midi files. (At the same time, on the same PC, using the same sound card, etc.) I have tried, and tried, and tried, but so far it's 'first one in gets all the cake'.
My guess is that the first expert to say "It can't be done" will get the points!

   TMediaPlayer.Shareable := True;

   This propery determines whether more than one application can share a multimedia device.
