Hi,

I got an error while trying to install a program. What does this mean and how can I rectify this. Thanks in advance

Missing DLL Files

You can download missing DLL files from this site

Everyone has at some time received a pop-up message: "Couldn't find ****.dll"
Well folks, your problems are over!
Here you will find the most common files that are missing from your computer. (and no, we haven't stolen them from you.)
Feel free to download! (And don't forget to bookmark, this site, as you never know then the files will disappear)

If it’s a windows DLL you can find it on your windows CD, it will look like

filename.dl_

Copy it to your hard drive and from command prompt type

expand filename.dl_ filename.dll

Then copy it to the correct location usually

Win 9x/ME windows/system
Windows 2000/NT  winnt/system32
Windows XP windows/system32

try these  commands at dos prompt  

> start > run > command.com or cmd.exe > 
at 'C:\' prompt   type > sfc

OR  

> msconfig.exe
