Outlook -- calendar sharing

I am trying to get access for 2 users to another user's calendar to work properly in Outlook 2002-- the calendar owner has a Blackberry device that they carry & use quite frequently.  These 2 users want to be able to monitor the calendar, set up appointments & accept invitations.  This access was set-up by someone else & these folks have been encountering appointments "disappearing".  Can anyone help out on how this should be set-up so that the 2 users can access the calendar, but not harm existing appointments?

I think the appointment disappearing issue is caused by Blackberry. I have exactly the same scenario as yours that items are missing from calendar. It turned out nothing to do with sharing calendar (typically and commonly between assisstant and boss). BB was the source of the problem, and so far I still couldn't figure out what exactly triggered the missing appointments.

In my case, I have to keep a mailbox level backup for that BB owner in case any appointment is missing.
