ISA and Authenticated FTP

I am having a problem with using Internet Explorer to browse an ftp site that requires authentication. Folder view in IE is turned off. I can browse anonymously (ftp://ftp.nai.com) with no problem. When I try to browse with a url (ftp://user_name@ip_address) I get the following error:

HTTP 502 Proxy Error - The password was not allowed. The password might have been changed or typed incorrectly. Try typing the password again. If the problem continues, contact the administrator for the remote server and report the problem. (12014)
Internet Security and Acceleration Server

I am never prompted for a password. I can use command-line ftp with the same username with no problems as well. Please help. Thanks
