Get Sound from Other Web Page

Hi

i developed some sample website in Flash MX 2004.  

i want to play song from some other website. But i dont want to load that site. is that possible i can run the same Audio stream in my website. with some other image or in some other format.

hi, if the "some other website" is your own, and you know the name and location of the file on the server then you can by all means load the sound (using sound object) by providing an absolute path i.e. http://whichserver/foldername/filename etc.

in terms of some other format - do you mean change the format of the audio file? If you want to run it from its current location, then no, you can't do that.
