This is done in the user.ini

1. Open your user.ini.  If your Goldmine login is bob this will be bob.ini in your Goldmine root folder.
2. Look for the [GMALARM] section.
3. Look for the key 'OnByDefault'. The OnByDefault=AC entry will automatic alarm appointments (A) and calls (C) when they are scheduled.
4. Erase everything after the equals sign so: OnByDefault=
5. Save the file and exit

Its not really documented unless you know where to look.   I answered your question knowing that its probably an .ini setting.  I then went here to get the answer:
