WinFax is not active for this User Account. Please start the controller and try again.

I have installed Winfax Pro 10.0 on a WinXP Home Edition PC.  I am also trying to use the Visioneer Paperport 7.02 program.  When I try to fax from the scanner program I get the following statement:  WinFax is not active for this User Account.  Please start the controller and try again.  Does anyone know the fix for this particular issue?  Symantec's knowledge base does not come up with anything useful.  I have tried to update Winfax but apparently there are no updates available.

I figured out the workaround.  The winfax program had to be installed first and then the visioneer program could be installed and it recognized the winfax program properly.
