Activex Code Signing

Hi

I have developed a activex control which will be  will be downloaded through a cab file from the web server and installed .I have used Microsoft Cabarc utility to create the cab file and the authenticode technology to sign .I have done what ever is required as per docs available on microsoft web site.

the cab file downloads but when open the web page where activex is placed a red Cross [X] appears in place of the activex .I think the control is not getting registered .
I have also included the files[dlls] required by activex Control.

From IE
Tools-> Internet Options-> Security -> Internet -> Custom Level -> Enable (or set to Prompt) Download unsigned ActiveX Controls (other setting for ActiveX Controls also might be helpful to be not disabled)

Then you will see what is the real problem with your control.
I think that you have used the test certificate and it is not trusted by default. You can make it to be trusted on your computer or a limited set of other computers but if you want that customers to trust it - it must be issued by a Certificate Authority (CA)
