Controling Another PC from Anywhere

Hi.
I want to know How can write a program that Control a PC via Modem and Phone Line without Netwrork and I can See another Desktop of PC .
I want to know Can I do this Control in WinXP without another Software?

no cant be done without a software. You have to write a software that run on the another PC which you want to control and you have to connect to that PC using that software(which is also running on your PC). There are many readymade softwares available in the market for this. PCAnywhere is one of them.
