Hi,
I am using PC TO CELL Connectivity SDK 3.0 (Nokia) with Visual studio 6.0(C++) for development of  SMS send & receive SMS connecting GSM phones to PC .I am using API's for the programming.
Can you tell me how to start & develop program. What will be the flow of the program ? What are the steps for the Win32 API programming for this.

Can you tell me about tutorials or links available for PC TO CELL programming in C/C++ ?

I have not used the Nokia PC connectivity SDK, but as I was going through the documentation it looks pretty well defined
interfaces to me.

I guess you will be mostly concerned with the IMessage interface of the NclMsg.dll that is available with the SDK. Right?

A very very very brief summary about how to go about it....

I think VB might be an easier choice to follow. But since you have mentioned VC.........It is gonna be a little tricky here.
The basic approach is get the DLL loaded into your application and get access to the interfaces exposed.

There is a step by step detail about the same in the documentation. I have no VC currently and cannot try it out here. But
if you try and face problems please post here.
It also depends whether you will be just using the VC++ IDE with C as the primary language or will you be using VC++ itself.

So tell us what you have done till now and let us go step by step from there.....
Hope you have got the installation right :-))

Cheers.

Hi Pankug,

I can give you the code as given in the SDK documentation. But that would be not necessary because you can find the same
thing here

http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,6566,034-20,00.html

You will find all the instructions to use the SMSAdapter library in VB and also a sample code to create and send SMS in the
document "Nokia PC Connectivity SDK 3.0 Extensive Component Library Reference"

It is a really good document and will be effective if you try it out.
Let me know if you have any problems.
Cheers.
