java mp3 stream player

Hi experts,
i am useing the javalayerme0.1.1 mp3 player from http://www.javazoom.net/javalayer/javalayerme.html
and i want to use the option to play from a stream in the network, i tried the -url http://somehots ...
put it seems not to work with the stream server i got (i put the stream and i play it).
so i decided to use the -url http://localhost/somefile.mp3
but the problem here is that i have to have some kind of web server.... so i have actually two questions.
1. is there any good stream server that i could easy to use?
2. is there any tiny http server that will help me to stream the mp3 to the other machine

hope i was clear enough.

so you want to write a mp3 streamer in java?

Just linking to an mp3 file on another machine (via the internet) is NOT streaming...  that's downloading...

Streaming is like a radio station...  just keeps on playing...

Which do you want?  Streaming (like a radio station), or downloading (on demand)?
