Yup, this is because the disk subsystem you have installed has a write cache that does not support the cache control commands used by windows 2000. If this is only a recent error then it suggests that the write cache is not working properly and is likely to fail altogether - you should replace the disk urgently.<br />

Error on windows 2000 server - please help Urgent

Windows 2000 is an operating system for use on both client and server computers. It is the successor to Windows NT 4.0, and is the last version of Microsoft Windows to display the "Windows NT" designation.
