The second hard drive on my G5 with OS X

I have 2 hard drives on my G5 that I use for video editing and storing. The problem has started when I added the second hard drive. When I try to store some videos on the second hard disk, it adds them to the first one and tell me that I have no space
available but it shows 25 GB available on the first and full size of the second hard disk 149 GB.. Please help..

Are you letting FCP place the files on the second disk, or are you placing them there manually?

So, you drag files to the second drive, and it copies them to the first? Where does it place them on the first drive??

it place them where I used to store my videos in the first HDD and some times it tells me that I have no space available..

If you have no space, it could be because there is Cache or VM sucking up space. Place them on the second HD.
