Hi,

When query for Employee data such as Personnel Number, Personnel Area, Family related data. I noticed that output only include employee WITH Family related data.

Is it possible to make the list to include employee WITHOUT Family related data to appear as well.

Ex; my selection criteria is Personnel Area = 0001, Employment Status = 3. I want all employee in Personnel Area 0001 & active to be listed. Those who do not have Family related data will have those field blank.

Ideas ?

Hi,
you should create functional area and put there tables with "Personnel Area" and "Family related data".
It could be left outer join for table with "Personnel Area"
Then define selection criteria for "Personnel Area = 0001" and  "Employment Status = 3".
Left outer joining can do that all data from "Personnel Area" appears with no filled fields from "Family related data".

Hi Marcnus,

Your functional area here means Infosets ? Where can I find the "left outer join" operation ?

Thanks again.

Functional areas are in SAP 4.5 of course. In later versions there are InfoSets but it is similiar. When you joining two tables in created InfoSet you can display join condition by clicking on junction between two tables. In join condition window you can specify Jointype - inner (default) or outer.
I hope it helps.
