Bios password lost, Acer Travelmate 732TE
Hi Experts,
this is an old problem: one of the old laptops in my company has a BIOS password which is out of the standards and now unreachable.
I tried to solve the problem removing the CMOS battery, but to no avail. Now I am tempted to try this program: http://www.11a.nu/page.php?27
Has anybody already tried it before? I am afraid it might cause serious problems to CMOS. Can anybody suggest me an alternative method to get the password?
Thanks in advance.

I tried your suggested solution, but it did not work for me.
Just as an afterthought, my system runs win2000 SP4 and works perfectly, except for the fact I cannot enter the BIOS.
