File_Save.js Error
Hello Experts,
Sometimes when I attempt to save a .cfm file using "Ctrl-S" or "File - Save" on Dreamweaver V 7.0 and V 7.1, I get the following error...
__________________________ __________ __________ __________ __________ __________ __________ _______
While executing receiveArguments in File_Save.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:
At line 75 of file "C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Dreamweav er MX 2004\Configuration\Menus\M M\File_Sav e.js":
exception throw in native function.
__________________________ __________ __________ __________ __________ __________ __________ _______
I tried closing the dreamweaver and reopening it again, and that doesn't work. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and I get that error. Now I have noticed that this error occurs only on some files and when the error occurs, dreamweaver adds the following file to both the local and remote folder "MFC19.tmp" and it increments to "MFC20.tmp", etc...
Finally, if I were to delete the .cfm file that I'm trying to save and paste the exact same code to a NEW file with the same name, the error goes away and it save correctly. This is the second laptop that I'm using and have noticed the error on both laptops using two different versions of Dreamweaver.
Any help on how to fix this would be great!
Thanks,
ACE
