  Try first some universal Paradox passwords...

      PARADOX 7.0 and 5.0: "jIGGAe" and/or "cupcdvum"
      PARADOX 4.x (DOS): "nx66ppx"

thanks Ivanov G. My question is how to do it in a Delphi program. I don't want to crack a protected Paradox table. I need to protect a new table. Can you give me a code snippet?

   Setting Paradox password automatically :
   {
      The table component's ACTIVE property
      must be set to FALSE.
      Then, put this code on the form's create event:
   }
   Session.AddPassword('My secret password') ;
   TableName.Active := True;
