making a <td> multiline..?

i need to make a cells text contents mutline if they are too long, how can i  do that , below is the code, sometimes itemname is extra long and creates an undesirable effect on overall page appearence. how can i make itemnames multiline if they are longer than certain number of character??

                              <font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="-1" class="label">
                               &nbsp; #this.items.itemoid# - #this.items.itemname# &nbsp;</font>

Hi finnstone,

Dou you want your td to span over several rows or just to linebreak the data within the cell? If it is the latter you remove the nowrap attribute and specify a width for the td.

the second line is not indented like the first, how can i also do that. thanks!

&nbsp; is the code for a non-breaking-space. Remove that and I think it will work out for you...
