I cannot access the company website from any 2k pro machine on an AD domain.

Our company website (www.company.org) is hosted by a host provider. We have set the domain name as(company.org). However, when browsing the internet, everyones website loads up fine except for our company website. I have a feeling it has something to do with DNS but i cannot resolve this.  I can access the company website from a 98 machine on our network (I'd like to know why) but not from a 2k machine.  I tried adding a host record to DNS to point to our website but I could not make this work.  I think that I should have set up our domain as a child of our public domain (www.company.org), maybe? Everything was working fine until I recently tried to switch out our aging DC.  We only have one server, 10 workstations.  I need to make this work as soon as possible.  When I ping company.org it returns the ip of my dc. Thanks for your help.
