SQL server not listening?

Hi all,

I'm having a bit of trouble connecting to my MSSQL server (server2k SP3) from a computer on the same LAN.

Basically, when connecting from the server computer it works fine. However, it seems absolutely impossible in any way to connect from a remote computer.

Further, netstat reveals that sqlserver is not listening on any port, including 1433.

Does anyone have a clue what's going on, and more important how to fix it?

Cheers,

Asbjorn
