I have an ASUS A7M266 motherboard Rev 1.04 with an AMD 1.2GHz processor. I just brought the WD 1600JB and am trying to install it as a single drive. When I set the BIOS(Rev 1004A) to Auto detect the drive it sees it as an 8.4 Gig Hard Drive. If I manually enter in the data it reads it as 528 M. Either way i get this message &quot;&nbsp;Disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter&quot;. If i put in Win XP or Norton Sytem Works into CD, i get the same error message. When i put a boot disc into floppy i get this error&quot;Disk I/O error. Replace the disk and then press any key. When I put the floppy i made with Data Lifeguard v11.0 for DOS, I get &quot;Starting Caldera Dr-DOS&quot; and the following error&quot; Can't load BDOS kernel file; &nbsp;A:IBMDOS.com System Halted. Any help or suggestions? Please.
