Webmail client for a local Exchange
Hello,
We run a public Internet facility. We also have our own private Exchange (2003). We want to offer the public email accounts. I need a webmail client or email client which runs on a browser but which connects with our local server internally (very important as in this country we do not have broadband and the whole point is to conserve utilisation of our narrowband pipe - but speed up the system greatly from customers point of view compared to Yahoo, Hotmail, etc).
Preferrably a free client, coff coff....but can anyone recomend any suchlike? Note that we do NOT want the system to interact externally - it should connect locally with our Exchange only.

My recommendation: Sambar Server http://www.sambar.com/
In your kind of scenarios you need a combo of server + client. Sambar had a freeware version. I am not sure whther or not it is available for download now.
Another alternate is MDaemon from altn technologies. www.altn.net A very strong product and pretty scalable. But no freeware is available i suppose.
