Need to Tuen my app into a service
Hi
I have a small vb6 app which i need to start as a service when the pc boots.
Now i have already tried the NTsvc.ocx which is a control which is used to cretae
ur app as a service. However this does not work Properly.
On a server, i need the service to start if a restricted user logons onto the
server. I got the service to run if the options in the advanced tab, is set
to use local system account.
However i need to be able to use the administrator account to start the service,
so if a normal user logs onto the server with restricted access, then the service will still
run and start my app.
Now i alooked at current service and in the Account name it has the following
NT AUTHORITY\LocalService
So i need sample code to get an app going as a service using the specific account name
property in the service so the service will still start if a restricted user reboots the pc
and logs in
thanks
