I have 3 varables in VBA.
a = "RH1"
b = "L4"
c = ""
I am trying to update a table in MS Access
My Table1 has RH1,RH2,L3,L4 as fields.

I would like to UPDATE the record so that Table1.RH1='a', Table1.RH2='',Table1.L3='',Table1.L4='b'.
I can do this within MySQL by

       $RH1 = "";
       $RH2 = "";
       $L3 = "";
       $L4 = "";

       if ($a > "") {
       $$a = 'a';
    }
       if ($b > "") {
       $$b = 'b';
    }
       if ($c > "") {
       $$c = 'c';
    }
How is this done with VBA / MS Access?

Thanks,
Russ
