Logon Failure: The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.

I get this error when a regular user tries to run \\server from run

\\server is not accessible.  You might not have permission to use this network resource.
Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Logon Failure:  The user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.

Admin accounts work fine, running windows 2003 domain, \\server is a windows 2003 member server.  If I create a share on the DC, users have no problems accessing it.

Thanks,

Dan

Duh,

Missed that one, for some reason I overlooked that policy, and kept on playing with the log on locally policy.

Thank's Dave
Log on Locally is for Basic Authentication (interactive)
Access this computer from the network is for NTLM

:-)

Glad I could help.

Dave Dietz
where do you find local policy, if it's not connected to the domain
Start->Administrative Tools->Local Security Policy
