Hi all,

we have upgraded our servers to Windows 2003 from Windows 2000 and VRML panos which were playing on our 2000 server no longer play on the windows 2003 server. the html page code is posted below:

<html>
<script language="JavaScript">
<!--
function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
  window.open(theURL,winName,features);
}
//-->
</script>
<title>Virtual Tour</title><body>
<applet archive=panoapplet.jar code=panoapplet width=400 height=300> <param name=file value=Pano227374.ivr>
<param name=initialView value="0.000000, 180.000005, 65.000001"> </applet> </body>
</html>

We have been trying to find out the reason, what could the difference in the setup be???

I would suggest asking this to be moved to the Javascript section.

But if the code works on windows 2000 server and not windows 2003, then surely its a server issue??

Problem Solved!!!

Server wouldn't serve up files with an unknown extension/mime type.

Fix:
added a MIME type for the extension .ivr in the Web
Options section (set to type application/octet-stream)
