      Does anyone have an idea of how bittorrent works? Please explain it in detail or send me a link to it...

It has loads of information and hope that you will find it useful! ;p

When you have gone thru that, you might one to check out a 'client' for BT which i find rather good!

The issues that one might have with BT would be firewall and router settings:
