Wondering if anyone knows of Windows compatible DVD ripping libraries or how to do this with api?

There is allot I do not understand about this subject. First question that comes to mind is how do you rip a dvd into some other format that can be contained on CD type disk.

Any and all comments apreciated.

If the DVD is not CSS protected (and to everything else, you will not get an answer here), a simple

CopyFile ( "d:\\video_ts\\vts_0x_yz.vob", "c:\\destdir");

will do. After that, you'll go through the packetized stream and remove anything that is not NPEG or audio data. For more info, see http://www.mpucoder.com/DVD/

That I understand for sure.

Will dig into my bookmarks, I am sure there is something...

IMAPI or the NeroAPI, can deal with that, too, at least for the latter I am a 100% sure.

Thanks!

I forgotten that you had already gave me links to the IMAPI and NeroAPI.

I take it also that the best choice between IMAPI and NeroAPI is that IMAPI has no adware/spyware on it.
