So, the notifications that I am sending e-mail with viruses to people I don't know are originating from a   computer some where in the world, who is using my email as the sender??

are u being notified via ur particular email ID ??
then its the problem of ur email id, and not of system :)

quite possible someone has hacked ur password =|
