If the particular equipment has an RS232 port, you can connect that to the serial port of the computer and then get that input from the java program. What is the make/model of the system?

Can you get the output from your digital scale ?
If you can't then you can't use it for input to your java program.

Still i don't have a scaler. I haven't decided what to purchase for as it. If you have any idea about a particular scale, which can perform this, guide me.
