Is your user a member of the backup operators group? Usually when you use hibernation it is like a backup....try adding him to that local group and see if it helps :)

No he is not.
But other users have no problem activating Hibernation , even though they are not part of the Backup operators.
Any way I will try that.

Do those other users have advanced rights on those machines or in the domain?

Hi,
The solution is that you have to first enable hibernate from the Administrator profile. then users can enable hibernate from their profiel.
