Hi,
I have one laptop in the office, that can't connect to pop3.  If I enter the user's information on another workstation, his account works fine.  I have tried deleting his acct and reentering it a couple times, but that doesn't work.  It can find an outgoing server (smtp), and an incoming mail server (pop3), but cannot log on to mail server (pop3) and this is the error:

log on to incoming mail server (pop3): outlook could not connect to the incoming mail server (pop3). the problem could be ur ssl or port settings for the incoming server . verify ur port and ssl setting under advanced tab.

i checked the settings, and it's set to default, and there is no av or firewall on this workstation.

any suggestions?

if account has no problem on other machines then his profile and password is ok.
U could try reinstalling his nic card to see if that would help u solve ur problem.
