Hi! I offer many mp3 files with lyrics on my website. The lyrics are embedded in the tag info of each mp3, cuz my songs are intrumental. My question is, how can I guarantee the user will see my lyrics after downloading my mp3s, while it's playing back? My users tell me Windows Media Player is a nightmare to configure lyrics display on, and most of them give up.

Is there a way to programmatically force lyrics display in WMP with some kind of script, or worst case, minimize whatever player (WMP, etc) is playing and show my web page of lyrics?

Thank you so much!

Hello,

I found a solution. I included a Windows Media Player plug-in on my page to play each song invisibly, and a rollover button for each song. Then I wrote some JScript to launch the WMP plug-in when a button is clicked, and also to display the text as dynamic HTML while the song plays. Works great(!)
