Hi all

We have a warning light on one of our proliant servers as follows:
                        Model:  Proliant ML370G2

Several events have been logged in the system event log:

                        Event ID:           4169
                        Source:             cpqasm
                        Type:                warning

The processor in slot 2 socket 2 has corrected an excessive number of internal errors. The system will continue to operate.

If anyone knows what this means and how to resolve this event feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks
Terry

It means that your second processor has failed an unacceptable number of the functional tests.  It's not actually "failed", but the system is alerting you that it is on its way out...

Simply put - replace it soon. : )

Thanks, I thought it sounded a bit serious.

Well, depending on your server, it may run fine on a single proc - but you will continually get alerts, so it's best to replace it.
Thanx.
