I am trying to get rid of pop-up's, tool bars etc that gets activated when using IE

I reaserched and decided to use Spybot......but I get the follwing error when I click on the check for problems button.  I am on Windows 98 second edittion 4.10.2222A.  Thanks for your help

Have you tried Highjackthis or Ad-Aware?  They are both free tools.  You can get them from download.com
