Windows XP automatic shutdown/restart hotkey

I need windows to shutdown autmatically... say when i press ctrl+f key. I know alt+f4 would serve the purpose.. but i would like to assign the function to custom keys. Do i need change something in the registry or....

Thanks in advance.

Create a shortcut for the command "SHUTDOWN -S -T 00" and save it in the desktop

Right-click the shortcut properties and assign a hotkey (such as CTRL+ALT+S example)

...And for restart, create a new shortcut, with "SHUTDOWN -r -t 00"
Explanation:     -r stands for reboot, -s for shutdown, -l for logoff, -t is the timeout between the activation of the command (pressing the hotkey) and the shutdown (in seconds).
i.e, if you set -t at 20, then a message box will be displayed with a countdown timer for 20 secs and then the windows shutdown sequence will begin.
