How do I change internet properties programmatically in VB6?

I have a webbrowser application, and would like to provide checkboxes to set/unset internet properties such as "show pictures", "play animations in web pages", or the other options found in IE's Internet Options dialog on the Advanced tab.  Any ideas?  I don't just want to call up the dialog box.

Most of this stuff has been stored in your local machine (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions).
The most easy way is to make a list of what you want to edit and their addresses, and use Win32API to edit those values.

For a good example for finding, reading and writing registry keys I'd prefer codeToad's registry demo.
