I recently uninstalled ie6 and in turn accidently deleted oe6. I want to reinstall both applications. Is there anyway I can recover my old inbox and other subfolders? My OS is windows xp home edition.

You cannot completely remove IE or OE from windows xp though it is just hidden from your machine after uninstallation.

Go to My computer --> tools --> folder options --> view --> and check "Show hidden files and folders"

Search for *.DBX files. There should be Inbox.DBX , Sent Items.DBX , Outbox.DBX etc ..
These are the files that contain all your emails.

The above is the easiest way.
If that doesnot work , try these
