relaunch projector after QT silent install

Hi,

I have a silent quicktime install as it described at http://www.mediamacros.com/item/item-1006687115
How can I track the moment when QT will be installed on system to restart projector?

Thank you!

You don't really have to quit the projector in the first place.

Instead of using Director's built in QT checks use Buddy API (www.mods.com.au) to check the QT version.  This prevents the QT components from initializing. You can then check and launch the installer from a stub movie that has no QT media in it, and then proceed to your main movie with QT elements, or launch anohter projector once its done.  Buddy API lets you launch a program and wait until its done to continue.
