Raid Controller

Hi,

When my machine reboot, it says, find new hardware "Raid Controller"..........
I try to find asus IDE Driver, but I could not find it or I am looking at wrong place.

Intel 82801EB Ultra Stroage Controllers
Asus P4P800

Did your motherboard come with a CD?  It should be on there.

We cought it from a company, they sent it in when they were built.....they did not leave cds.....

If you download Everest and look in the Computer->Summary section, it will provide a link to a site with drivers for your motherboard.

"SIIG Serial ATA Controller Windows Driver" - This Windows Driver is for use with the SIIG Serial ATA controller card included with some Western Digital hard drives.

If you don't have a separate SIIG controller card, don't use this.

P4P800 Has 2 different raid controllers onboard. Check in device manager whidch one is installed. Install the one not listed get the drivers directly from http://www.asus.com

I downloaded this (looks like it is the only one for raid there), but it says the driver is not suitable for the hardware I have.

In driver manager, I can only see "?" with "Raid Controller" There......How can I gain more info........
