I having problems writing a jpeg to a file on a network share. I can upload the file using Scripting.FileSystemObject when I'm running my local IIS machine. If I go over to the web server I can upload the file just fine. The problem is when I try to upload the file from internet explorer connecting to the webserver it says permission denied.

http://mylocal/upload.asp  works fine when I'm on that computer

when I try http://mywebsever/upload on the web server it works fine

when I try http://mywebsever/upload on my machine it doesn't work. I get Write to file failed

I had our network team set up a domain users DOMAIN/WEBSERVERNAME . The folder we are updating has this as a user with write permission to the file on the network. Any help to get this  resolved would be appreciated.

The link above shows how to duplicate the IUSR account on a remote server. You will need to do this in order to allow the IUSR account from the web server to perform the necessary operations on the remote server.
