How does this work-
Question- Large network, everyone using internet without proxy, reports are run showing who has used what, and what are the main sites that were hit.

2- If I plug in an external proxy, does this eliminate this problem? if the proxy is anonymous etc, can i be tracked on the network for bandwidth used etc? I want to go out anonymously and do what i need to do without the network.

My goal is to just never be noticed on my network, either for downloads or sites-

Q. Large network, everyone using internet without proxy, reports are run showing who has used what, and what are the main sites that were hit.

A. If you're using router to connect to the internet, then usually it logs everything it's users did. Or the server computer usually got something like this to log user activity.

-->  "I have admin access to my workstation"
You're an admin administrator of whole network or just the workstation ?
If you're on admin access in your workstation, then that's means you're an end user :P

And as an end user, you can only hide where you browsing to with some site which offer anonymous browsing. You can't hide the bandwidth used.

Is that what you asking ?

so basically if you use
1- a site that offers anonymous browsing  like anomymizer
2- an anonymous secure proxy

reports will only show bandwidth used, not what was viewed?

would you answer those 1,2's? thats exactly what i need to know-

Superior storage. Superior surveillance.

WD Purple drives are built for 24/7, always-on, high-definition security systems. With support for up to 8 hard drives and 32 cameras, WD Purple drives are optimized for surveillance.

basically yes if the site/program you mention above is working (never try before so i can't be sure about that)
because they usually only log the visited website names
so they will log the name of that anonymous website and get back to you! :) (if i happened to be the admin and you got a policy regarding browsing and d/l there :P )
