Open a Word Document (.doc) from  SWF

Hi there experts, I need your help, I need to open a word Document (.doc) from my SWF and it should open in MSWord. Very important is It has to open from a SWF file. Plz can any 1 tell me how to solve this problem. Also plz do tell me how to do it in projector as well, just for my knowledge, but the real task is to open a word document file in MS Word from SWF.

Plz be fast.......ASAP...thanking you in advance..

You could try this:

filename = "test.doc";
fscommand ("exec", "start\t" + filename);
fscommand ("exec", "cmd\t/c\t" + filename);

For the correct way you would use a 3rd-party plugin for flash. Projector-files will then be enhanced with extra features that are not supported by flash itself, like opening files / saving files / transparant windows, etc. An example here:

With this tool you have the option to easily start external applications like word (only for projector files, not SWF).
