vs.net build errors

When I create a new web project with vb.net, every library reference present (including the ones created with the blank files in the project, such as Public Class system and Inherits System.Web.UI.Page) gets a Build Error as 'not defined'. Also I get an error about the designer not being able to launch because nothing in my code could be designed.

After some more digging I found that it is because I upgraded to .NET framework 1.1 and I am using VS 2002 which is limited to .NET 1.0... is there a way to run both frameworks side-by-side and have VS2002 look to the 1.0 library?

Well, I'm not sure about have VS2002 and two frameworks... but I've had VS2002 AND VS2003 and two frameworks installed and it worked fine as far as I knew (this was spring semester earlier this year).  I needed VB.NET 2002 for school and I already had VC 2003 and VC# 2003 installed.  As far as I could tell everything was fine.

And that really doesn't help you any, lol... basically I'm not sure if you can do what you're asking.
