Go to the menu: Components|Install packages and find the offensive component in the list there. Then click "Remove" to remove the package.

Easiest 200 points ever. :)

Nope ;-)

I do not want to remove the package but some components. Components|Install Packages|Edit says:
'Cancel this dialog box and open C:\...\delphi5\lib\dclusr50.dpk'.
Doing so I still can't figure out how to remove the components. Darn.

Any further advice?

Ok, I already removed the components but forgot to rebuild the package. Me stupid. Enjoy the points.

As I said, easiest 200 points ever... :-P

Removing components is done by removing the package that contains them. If the package contains some components that you still want to keep, recompile the package but find where the components are registered and remove the component you don't want to have.

But I guess you already knew that.
