PCI driver development kit

hello all,
        Im a linux user and im intrest in PCI device drivers...

is any driver development kit(Linux) on PCI available (such that with the kit they will provide driver and some doc's for easy understanding and development of
PCI drivers....)

and please give suggestion  to develop PCI drivers(sites, books any doc's)...

After having read the Linux Device Driver 2th Edition book from A. Rubini that is the bible of device driver writers, I suggest to you to get a simple PCI driver (usually char drivers are simpler than others) and study it. Probaly you can use it as a skeleton for your driver simply putting in them the difference on hardware access to your device from the original.
I don't think that commercial driver's development kits are a good choice under Linux ... you have the possibility to know all of your code why does not take the most of that ? :-)
