What is the best way to add comment  format in the sqlldr control files

using -- or /* comment */

as far as I know, only -- is allowed as comment:
http://zuse.esnig.cifom.ch/database/doc_oracle/Oracle901_Linux/server.901/a90192/ch05.htm#1004773
note that the last part of the loader control file is interpreted as data and does NOT support comment at all
