I  am not really sure if this is a DNS issue or not so I will just explain my problem.

I working on a web server that has a couple of sites hosted of it.  It is a win2k3 server and I am using CF with Access.  I designed the site in a devlopment folder and now I want to move it to the live folder.  Right now I am using easyDNS to do stealth on the url but here is my problem:  I have a login that uses sessions and in the devlopment folder everything works fine but in the live site the session variable gets dropped after you login.  EasyDNS uses a frame set to stealth the url and when stealth is turned off the sessions work fine but then you get the full path url path to the website ex: www.webserver.com/website_folder/default.cfm - instead of www.website.com/default.cfm

Is there a way to do DNS in Win2k3 Server to point to the right folder with out using the full path?  I am hoping that this will also fix my session problem as well.

Thanks in advance,

DNS just serves up IP addresses...it can't tell you what folder to go to.

In IIS, can you make 'website_folder' the root directory for the website? (ok, you've probably done that, but I'm just asking)
