Visio 2000 - Modification of 'cross functional flowchart shapes vertical or horizental' TEMPLATE

Hello,

I would like to modify the 'cross functional ....' template (found in stencils of Visio 2000) in order to create a new template that corresponds to the swimlane diagram (business process mapping diagram), is it possible ?
If it is possible, here what I want to perform :
I would like to add for example two text boxes on the bottom of the 'functional band' template and I would like them:
- to be dynamically resized depends on the text transform
- to be duplicated sucessfully and resized again dynamically all text boxes (as Gantt chart frame proposed in Visio 2000).
Could you tell me how can I do ?

Here a example :
take a functional band and duplicate it, then you have two 'function' boxes. If you move the first 'function' box, the second box moves dynamically also, the height of the two boxes is the same. I search to reproduce the same functions when I add the two others text boxes on the bottom of the template.

Thanks

For something simple, add what you want to an existing shape, create a new group, and save as a new stencil shape.
For more complex "dynamics", you need to look in the help at the "View ShapeSheet" command.
It's not very straight forward, but it functions as a set of excell spreadsheet to keep the shape dynamics intact.

Be carefull though, each shape will several shapesheets. One for each group and one for each distinct set of geometry.  You may need to click the geometry you want to modify several time to get the shapesheet you want.  Linking between them will be the fun part if you have to.  Also, some of the shapesheets will be "protected" from change and you will have to unprotect it before you can modify the shape.

Good Luck............
