How can I arrange that a Name is not devided over two lines if it doesn't fit on the end of a line.

Now:
My name was given to me by my parents. I am called John
Doe

Must be:
My name was given to me by my parents. I am called
John Doe

So how can I connect to two words together?

Thanks for your help. Stef

You can try:
My name was given to me by my parents. I am called
John Doe

using the usually helps
